Andrea (Drea) Meyer, MD

Dr. Meyer is from Albuquerque, New Mexico. She previously studied International Politics and Health Policy at Penn State, after which she worked internationally for Operation Smile, running operations and logistics of surgical missions. The experience ignited her interest in medicine and led her to pursue a pre-medical post-baccalaureate program at Loyola Marymount University. Dr. Meyer returned to Penn State to complete medical school, and her interest in plastic surgery grew through seeing cases providing function restoration to patients. She is excited to training in Nashville with the Vanderbilt team!  In her free time, she enjoys working out and getting outside as much as possible with her wife and two golden retrievers.
