Lauren West

Lauren graduated from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Then, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee to explore the mountains and greater opportunities in a bigger city. Her interests led her to voluntarily participate in many studies around Vanderbilt and then become a member of the Center for the Collaborative Study of Cognition and Movement in February 2013. She works as an assistant for Dr. Daniel Claassen and also coordinates the Huntington’s Disease and Chorea Clinic. She is the coordinator for Enroll HD and works closely with Dr. Scott Wylie, administering and organizing cognitive assessments in the lab and in a clinical setting. Lauren is always searching for ways to help and become more involved in the lab’s research. She is very friendly and easy-going and will be certain that her patients are taken care of! She absolutely loves the outdoors and enjoys camping, hiking, and rock climbing.
