To help prioritize employees’ health, Vanderbilt Health Employer Solutions offers customizable corporate health fairs. These events provide a convenient opportunity for a company to help their workforce to get crucial screenings, assessments and vaccinations. By removing barriers to care and reinforcing the importance of preventative care, employees may identify health issues early and prevent uncontrolled chronic conditions.
In September, the Vanderbilt Health Employer Solutions’ Corporate Health and Wellness team, which consists of highly skilled nurses, partnered with Ryman Hospitality Partners (RHP) to facilitate “In Tune With Your Health,” a health fair for their employees in three locations—two in Nashville and one in Gatlinburg. The team conducted comprehensive health screenings including biometric measurements, such as standard physiological measurements and blood work. They also provided wellness education, counseling, flu shots, COVID-19 vaccines and vaccine education.
A bonus for the entertainment and media company was a slideshow of music-themed health facts. Attendees lingered around the fair longer to read how dancing boosts memory and how listening to music can ease stress and anxiety and lower blood pressure.
