Message From David Posch: VUMC's Work/Life Connections Provides Needed Counseling in Crisis Times

The current rise in COVID-19 cases is understandably causing heightened anxiety and stress among many of us, particularly frontline health care workers. If those feelings sound familiar to you, consider reaching out to VUMC’s Work/Life Connections-EAP (WLC-EAP), a free counseling resource available to all VUMC employees and their spouses.

Committed to your mental health, the EAP offers confidential, short-term solution-based coaching and counseling to employees as well as referrals to in-network counselors and therapists, including right here at VUMC.

Whether you’re facing pandemic-related burnout or emotional turmoil due to work, family, relationship or other personal stressors, an experienced, trained EAP counselor is ready to help. In fact, the team has worked with colleagues at Vanderbilt Behavioral Health to create capacity for employees who could benefit from longer-term support.
