Vanderbilt Health Employer Solutions and the infectious disease experts of Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) have been collaborating to promote COVID-19-safe travel. As of March 1, the in-flight TV channels of American Airlines now feature six different vaccine-related videos from VUMC. The videos include “Will a COVID-19 Vaccine Be Safe?” and "Will a COVID-19 Vaccine Make Me Sick?"
The World Travel & Tourism Council designated Nashville a safe destination for travelers, thanks to Good to Go, a hospitality safety program created by the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp (NCVC), in cooperation with Vanderbilt Health, Ryman Hospitality Properties and SERVPRO. Nashville businesses that are members of the Good to Go program will soon be displaying the Safe Travels logo to give added confidence of their health and safety measures to residents and visitors.
