Mental Health Awareness Month begins Sunday, May 1. The nonprofit Mental Health America began the observation in 1949, and now hundreds of organizations nationwide, including Vanderbilt University Medical Center, use this month-long opportunity to combat stigma about mental illness, educate the public and provide support to patients and their families. To strengthen your mental health and increase resiliency, I urge you to check out our recent Virtual Series on Coping Strategies to Combat Pandemic Fatigue. Vanderbilt Work/Life Connections-EAP and VHAN collaborated to help our own employees cope with pandemic-related stress. Click this link for access to recordings focused on improving your well-being. |
