The Episodes of Care, Employer Solutions and Business Engagement Strategies teams have been working hard on the launch of three new MyHealth Bundles. The following bundles will debut Jan. 1, 2022, and are available to eligible Vanderbilt employees and their dependents:
- MyWeightLossHealth – Medical Weight Loss: This bundle helps patients achieve meaningful weight loss without surgery with a combination of multidisciplinary clinical support and proper medication. This bundle is designed for patients with more severe obesity who may not necessarily go forward with bariatric surgery.
- MyOrthoHeath – Shoulder Pain: This bundle ensures patients receive the most appropriate treatment for shoulder pain. Patients will be supported through physical therapy first and proceed to advanced imaging and surgery only when these are the clinically appropriate next steps.
- MyOrthoHeath – Hip and Knee Osteoarthritis: This bundle puts patients on the most appropriate course of treatment for their hip and knee pain. In many cases, this means avoiding costly and time-consuming surgery. A personalized plan involving physical therapy and other complementary treatments can produce quality results.
The new year will also usher in new locations for maternity, hip and knee surgery, and surgical weight loss patients.
- MyMaternityHealth: Patients can use the Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital and Vanderbilt Birth Center (if clinically eligible), in addition to Vanderbilt Hospital’s main campus, for the birth of their child as long as the delivery occurs after Jan. 1, 2022.
- MyOrthoHealth–Hip & Knee Surgery: Patients can use the Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital, in addition to Vanderbilt Orthopaedics Belle Meade, Vanderbilt Orthopaedics Franklin, or Vanderbilt Hospital’s main campus.
- MyWeightLossHealth–Surgical Weight Loss: Patients can use the Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital, in addition to Vanderbilt Weight Loss Center at One Hundred Oaks; Vanderbilt Medical Group General Surgery in Franklin; and Vanderbilt Weight Loss Centers in Clarksville, Jackson, Lebanon and Murfreesboro, Tenn.
