Clare Laut, Ph.D.

Clare is originally from Michigan where she earned her B.S. in Microbiology and Genetics from Michigan State University. She went on to earn her Ph.D. in Bacteriology in the Skaar lab in 2021, where she studied the Bacillus anthracistwo component system signaling response to host derived stressors. Clare is currently an Assistant Principle Investigator at the National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center in the DC area.
