Christine Deyholos, MD

Dr. Christine Deyholos joined our surgical faculty in the Department of Vascular Surgery as an assistant professor of Surgery after completing a residency at Yale New Haven Medical Center, New Haven, CT. Dr. Deyholos’ clinical interests include peripheral arterial disease, aortic aneurysms, cerebrovascular disease, and hemodialysis access.

Research
Dr. Deyholos’ previous research interests have included novel endovascular and hybrid approaches for treatment of aortic aneurysms and aortoiliac occlusive disease. Her recent publications include: On-table Modification of Self-expanding Covered Stents for Hybrid Aortobifemoral Revascularization, Journal of Vascular Surgery: Cases and Innovative Techniques; Bifurcated Unibody Aortic Endografts Overcome Unfavorable Aortoiliac Anatomy for Deployment of Bilateral Iliac Branch Endoprostheses, Journal of Vascular Surgery: Cases and Innovative Techniques.

Memberships
Dr. Deyholos is a member of the Society of Vascular Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Medical Association. She is board certified in Vascular Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.

Education
Dr. Deyholos graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in the School of Environment from McGill University, Montreal, Quebec. Dr. Deyholos subsequently completed a Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Program at Columbia University, NY. She received her MD from Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University, Chicago, IL. She completed her vascular surgery residency at Yale New Haven Medical Center, New Haven, CT.
