Grants

We work one-on-one with faculty and trainees to improve the success of their grants by assisting with mechanics, style and clarity, presentation, and the research design of their projects. Authors can select from a wide variety of services, as well as the level of editing and development appropriate for their needs and budget.  Grant writing services include:

  • Letter of intent
  • Advising for junior faculty
  • Research of background and relevant content
  • Content development (writing of sections, figure development, organization, literature reviews etc)
  • Preparation of supporting documents
  • Progress reports
  • Custom services based on individual needs

We encourage authors to contact us well in advance of the submission deadline and to submit their initial Specific Aims page (or Letter of Intent) 1-2 months before the deadline. Authors that are able to provide this information at least 2 months before the deadline can be offered additional grant planning and organization services to ensure a stronger grant.

In addition to editing and developing grants, we also provide scientific writing workshops to provide trainees and staff with the tools to develop a successful grant.
