Chung eun Lee, Ph.D.
Chung eun Lee, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at Chonnam National University, Department of Special Education, in Gwangju, South Korea.
Dr. Lee completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship with the Transitions Lab at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from August 2019 to February 2021. She received her Ph.D. in Special Education at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
As a sibling of a brother with Autism Spectrum Disorder and an experienced special education academic, her research interest focuses on supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities during the transition into the adulthood as well as their families (i.e., parents and siblings). In the past, Dr. Lee also served as a Co-Chair position for Student and Early Career Professionals Network and International Network at the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD).
Dr. Lee has co-authored several articles in publications like the Journal of Applied Research in Intellectual Disabilities, Journal of Special Education, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and Journal of Policy and Practice in Intellectual Disabilities, amongst others.
