Rima Abou-Khalil, PhD, CCC-SLP
Rima Abou-Khalil, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Rima held a BA degree in English literature and an MA in applied linguistics before embarking on her speech-language pathology training and career. After she received her MS degree from Vanderbilt University, she worked at Pi Beta Phi Rehabilitation Institute for two years, and then pursued her Doctorate under the mentorship of Dr. Terry Wertz, also at Vanderbilt University. Rima’s clinical and research interests center on the management of acquired neurogenic speech-language and communicative disorders. She has enjoyed teaching anatomy and physiology to Speech-Language pathology students.
Teaches classes for MS-SLP and PhD Students.
