	Through VUMC’s partnership with EdAssist, staff can schedule a 1:1 coaching session for guidance on maximizing VUMC’s Education Benefits in alignment with their career and education goals.

	Nurse Scholars Program is for nursing students enrolled in participating schools and meet eligibility requirements. Scholarship provided with a position in VUMC’s Nurse Residency Program.


	For full-time VUMC Staff enrolled in an accredited-degreed nursing program such as BSN and MSN. Nursing Tuition Assistance Benefit to be used in combination with VUMC’s HR Tuition Benefit. EdAssist is VUMC's partner for maximizing tuition benefits and back-to-school coaching.


	For full-time VUMC direct care nurses and respiratory therapists. VUMC will contribute up to $24K towards staff members' students loan. VUMC will contribute $500 monthly in addition to the staff member paying their monthly loan repayment as well. Programm is managed through VUMC's education partner, EdAssist.


	Certification is the formal recognition of specialized knowledge, skills, and experience demonstrated by a nursing specialty to promote optimal health outcomes. VUMC encourages certification by providing our nurses no-cost certification review courses and assistance with exam fees.
