Hello and welcome to our unit!
I’m Jeri P. Clements, RN, Manager of the Vanderbilt Bedford County Hospital Emergency Department, also known as VBCH ED. We are located on the 1st floor at Vanderbilt Bedford County Hospital (VBCH).
The environment on our unit is fast-paced, high-energy, and our staff is like family.
We care for adult and pediatric patients who are being treated for emergency medical conditions. Our patients are unique because we never know what is going to come through our door.
One of the perks of working on our unit is the variety of medical emergencies we treat.
Our nurses are successful because they have support, knowledge, and critical thinking skills. We orient new nurses to our unit by providing individualized orientation based on previous experience.
We encourage professional growth.
