Thomas C. Naslund, M.D.
Thomas C. Naslund, M.D., is particularly interested in the management of aneurysms of the aorta with endovascular repair and conventional surgical repair. He has performed in excess of 700 endovascular aneurysm repairs and is active in the investigation of new techniques and devices for the management of aortic aneurysms.
Postgraduate Training
In the six years after medical school Dr. Naslund completed his surgical residency at Vanderbilt and received the Harwell Wilson Award for Surgical Excellence. Following his residency he completed a two-year fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, Louisiana. He has been a full-time faculty member at Vanderbilt since 1992.
Education
Dr. Naslund received a B.S. in Biology in 1980 from Trinity University in San Antonio and the M.D. degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 1984.
