I began my nursing career at Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital in 1995 as a mental health specialist while I was in nursing school. I have held several positions throughout VPH. I have been a manager for Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health Program for 20 years and am currently utilizing the Nursing Tuition Benefit to pursue a graduate degree at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. The best part about being a nurse leader at Vanderbilt is fostering a team environment through which our patients get the best care and have a system of caregivers able to advocate for them.
