Bryan Steitz, PhD

Bryan Steitz, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Informatics. He earned his B.S. in Information Science and Technology and in Security and Risk Analysis at The Pennsylvania State University and his MS and PhD in Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University. His research focuses on developing novel approaches to improve care coordination at the intersection of communication, information sharing, and clinical workflow. In addition, he is particularly interested in understanding how care coordination through the use of electronic tools contributes to professional exhaustion and burnout.
