My research program focuses on infections and cancer, the natural history of infections, and the synergy between infections. The goal of our research is to identify modifiable factors associated with the acquisition of infection in order to increase primary prevention and to identify biologically meaningful associations between the host and pathogen that could be translated into primary prevention efforts, early diagnosis, or treatment.
