Ambulatory Nursing LeaderAnna Liza Rodriguez, MSN, MHA, RN, OCN, NEA-BC
Associate Nursing Officer,
Cancer Patient Care Center

Prior to my role at Vanderbilt, I served as the Director of Clinical Operations at Presence Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, with responsibility and oversight of the service lines of oncology, clinical research office, cancer registry, radiation oncology, women's and children's, rehabilitation, and pain. I also held previous nursing and leadership roles at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago. While my experiences in community health systems provided me with invaluable skills and knowledge, I always knew I wanted to go back to an academic medical center. The role at Vanderbilt, a well-known medical center, and the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center, was the perfect opportunity allowing me not only to continue to contribute to the advancement and development of nursing but also to continue to influence and make an impact to the care delivery for our cancer patients. Vanderbilt nurses achieve the remarkable. This is one of the main draws for me joining this team. I am constantly in awe of our team's dedication, compassion, and commitment to our patients.
