Brief Bio

Prior to pursuing a career in clinical psychology, Dr. Pierce worked as a Registered Nurse in the areas of surgical and inpatient rehabilitation. After graduate school, Dr. Pierce completed a pre-doctoral Health Psychology/Behavioral Medicine track internship at the Central Arkansas Veterans Health Care System in 2013-2104, and remained at CAVHS to complete an Interprofessional Fellowship in Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Oriented Services form 2014-2015. In 2015, Dr. Pierce became Board Certified in Biofeedback, and she  joined the staff at VA TVHS as a Pain Psychologist where she collaborates with the interdisciplinary Pain Clinic Team and fellow mental health providers to offer holistic, person-centered treatments for chronic pain. Dr. Pierce is also a member of the American Psychological Association and the Division 38 Society for Health Psychology.
