During my undergraduate career, I was involved in projects utilizing Magnetic Resonance Elastography of the brain and Ultrasound Shear Wave Elastography of the Achilles tendon in order to directly measure mechanical properties of these structures. Starting this Fall at Vanderbilt, I will be exploring methods of Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the lower spinal cord in order to identify imaging biomarkers in subjects with Multiple Sclerosis.
