WFM Training

Infor Workforce Management (WFM) training is available in multiple formats. Instructor-led courses are a great place to start if you are a new leader using the system. Live courses offer comprehensive training in the system with opportunities to practice the functionality in our training environment using your team's data. We also offer self-guided interactive LMS modules that can be completed on your own time. Tip sheets are available for reference on the Schedule Admin Toolbox and Employee Toolbox webpages. 

 

 

  • The instructor-led classes currently offered are listed below. Select the name of a class and you will be taken to the Learning Exchange login page. Login to the Learning Exchange and you will see the class listed with "No Sessions Enrolled Yet". Select Choose Session to view and select the session that works best with your schedule. Class documents used in each classes are available in the section "Instructor-led Class Materials" below.  


    Infor WFM Sched Admin ADVANCED SCHEDULE VIEW (ASV) Class

    • Audience: Leaders with WFM Schedule Admin access that manage or edit employee schedules. Typical jobs are Manager, Assistant Manager, Clinical Staff Leader (CSL), Administrative Assistant (AA), Supervisor, or Team Leader
    • Learners will: Utilize the Advanced Schedule View (ASV) to edit schedules by demonstrating information learned to add shifts, book off partial shifts, multiple shifts, copy shifts, and various other shift editing functions using Detail and Mass edit modes. Apply knowledge learned by viewing schedule coverage, using various edit modes, filters, and sort options.
    • Needed Class Material: Infor WFM Schedule Admin Advanced Schedule View Class

    Infor WFM Sched Admin PROCESS EMPLOYEE REQUEST Class

    • Audience: Leaders with WFM Schedule Admin access that are designated 1st or 2nd Approvers. Typical jobs are Manager, Assistant Manager, Clinical Staff Leader (CSL), Administrative Assistant (AA), Supervisor, or Team Leader
    • Learners will: Achieve an understanding of the complete cycle for leave requests, shift trades, & post/take shifts submitted by employees. Complete processing employee requests based on the number of staff with approved time off for the dates requested and apply information learned, and update an employee's default shift. Understand PTO & SICK balances and how WFM works with WFM and Kronos to export and import data.

    Infor WFM Sched Admin REPORTS & STAFFING INFORMATION Class

    • Audience: Leaders with WFM Schedule Admin access that manage employee schedules, the budget, or reconciles Kronos for hourly employees. Typical jobs are Manager, Assistant Manager, Clinical Staff Leader (CSL), Administrative Assistant (AA), Supervisor, or Team Leader
    • Learners will: Compile data using available information from the Star Dashboards, Daily Time Management Report, Time & Attendance Reports, Printed Schedules, and Staffing Reports. Analyze staffing needs and how to apply knowledge to improve staffing in a cost-effective way. Improve time spent reconciling Kronos for hourly employees and evaluate hours over budgeted hours and lost time. Apply information learned to update new employee information.

    Infor WFM Schedule Admin SHIFT BILLBOARD Class

    •  Audience: Leaders with WFM Schedule Admin access that manage or edit employee schedules. Typical jobs are Manager, Assistant Manager, Clinical Staff Leader (CSL), Administrative Assistant (AA), Supervisor, or Team Leader
    • Learners will: Apply information learned by creating billboards and billboard groups. Compile data to build a shift template and generated shifts for billboards. Demonstrate information learned by prioritize postings by sending shifts to a billboard or billboards using mass edit, analyze needs and how to remove shifts from a billboard, and how to modify shifts posted to a billboard.

    Infor WFM Sched Admin Inpatient Unit SHIFT LEADER (RSL) Class

    • Audience: RNs with WFM Schedule Admin access that work as a shift leader (SL/RSL) for designated shifts on an inpatient unit. 
    • Learners will: Apply information learned about the Assignment Sheet, including but not limited to, adjust staffing needs based on recommended staffing & hours per patient day (HPPD), use the Cancelation Report and Float Report as needed, make assignments including using the multi-timespan function, and book off function. Utilize the Advanced Schedule View (ASV) to book off employees for a partial shift, complete various on call scenarios, float an employee to work on another team, how to fill a need using unassigned shifts and other scheduling functions in the ASV. - If you take the ASV class above, you do not need this class!
    • Needed Class Material: Infor WFM Schedule Admin Inpatient Shift Leader (RSL) Class
