AVAIL's purpose is to provide strategic and operational leadership in the identification, review, selection, implementation, efficacy testing, advancement, and life-cycle management of artificial intelligence technologies across the VUMC enterprise, as well as provide oversight to all patient-engaging technologies.
The AVAIL Executive Steering Committee will oversee two subcommittees: AIT (Artificial Intelligence Technology Sub-Committee) and PET (Patient Engaging Technology Sub-Committee).
