FrameLabs is seeking a special individual to lead the technical development and implementation of our core technology, ImageAssist™, a groundbreaking mobile application for clinical photography.
About FrameLabs and ImageAssist: FrameLabs is a Nashville startup born out of a collaboration between craniofacial plastic surgeons and developers at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) IT. Implementing the gold standard for body photography , ImageAssist is patent pending technology that has enabled clinicians at VUMC to take thousands of better quality, standardized images faster than ever before. Inspired by mobile check deposit technology, our app provides dynamic digital frames that guide users to capture clinically standardized photos. Your Role & Scope of Work:
Develop or lead development of ImageAssist across iOS and Android platforms, ensuring high-performance and responsiveness for the SaaS version of the product with polished UI/UX.
Navigate technical implementation of ‘enterprise’ versions with potential clients in professional sports leagues such as www.edge10group.com and healthcare Home - 4th Dimension EMR (4d-emr.com).
Manage single-user custom support and a development team.
Innovate new uses cases and products in collaboration with clients for industry-specific for needs.
Ideal Candidate: Minimum 2 years of experience in mobile app development, with a portfolio showcasing released applications. Strong background in iOS and Android development environments. Expertise in computer vision, image and/or photo processing, or related fields is preferred. An excellent communicator, a ‘mensch’!- and a team player with a fire in the belly for innovation and growth. Resident in the Greater Nashville area is preferred.
Commercial Potential: FrameLabs is centered around its core and proprietary technology, ImageAssist, which has a wide range of applications from medical records in sports leagues to consumer health and fitness apps. Initial partnerships and endorsements from key medical societies and industry leaders underscore the vast commercial opportunities ahead.
