Mabel Seto, PhD

Mabel Set completed her Ph.D. degree in Pharmacology under the mentorship of Dr. Timothy Hohman at the Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer’s Center's Computational Neurogenomics Team. She received her bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign before attending Vanderbilt. Her research focuses on understanding how underlying genetic differences between individuals drives neuroprotection to Alzheimer’s disease. She is currently exploring the connection between gene co-expression networks, AD biomarkers, and resilience.
