Dawn Bennett

Dawn is a long-time resident of Middle Tennessee and has served as the Mission Development Pastor at The Table, an ELCA Lutheran Church in Downtown Nashville since 2020. She earned a BS in Psychology from Liberty University; MACM from Luther Seminary; MDiv from Vanderbilt Divinity School with a Certificate in Religion, Gender & Sexuality from the same. Dawn is the parent to three growns and three grands and is happy to reside with her fish Mo, Larry and Curly. Having been raised on an island, in her spare time you will always find her outside enjoying all types of weather and nature. Dawn’s ministry specifically centers the lived experiences of LGBTQ+ people and families. She is actively engaged in incarnational and liberation theologies, empowering folks to live into their full authenticity as intentionally created persons.
