CVICU Mission Statement 

The Vanderbilt Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) utilizes a multidisciplinary approach specializing in the care of adult general and congenital cardiology, cardiac surgery, thoracic, transplant, and vascular patients. Our mission is to provide the highest level of care by applying evidence-based practice, compassion, education in caring for our patients and their loved ones. The CVICU Values diversity in our workforce and upholds a culture of change in order to adapt to a dynamic and challenging healthcare system.
