- DBMI Grand Rounds—Weekly talks that are intended to provide opportunities for recognized regional and national experts to present state-of-the-art overviews and future directions for various domains of biomedical informatics. Although research data may be included to emphasize specific concepts, the focus of the seminars is to provide general education to a broad biomedical informatics audience on the topic for which the speakers have a particularly strong background. Audience: Vanderbilt DBMI faculty, students, staff and alumni; Vanderbilt University and VUMC Community; HealthIT; General public with interests in biomedical informatics.
