Description:
The Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) at VUMC is seeking a tenure-track faculty member with expertise in AI and machine learning, clinical research informatics and data privacy with applications to biomedical research infrastructure.
Qualifications:
The successful applicant should have a computational background and experience working in the field of informatics. There will be opportunities to pursue independent funding and contribute to a new grant submissions, as well as contribute to projects that are managed by the various centers with strong ties to the department, Center for Health Data Science (HEADS), the Clinical Informatics Center (VCLIC), Center for Precision Health (CPM) and the Center for Improving the Public's Health Through Informatics (CIPHI).
