Michael Topf, MD, MSCI joined the Vanderbilt Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery in 2020. Since relocating from Stanford University, he has initiated multiple clinical trials, while also working towards a Master’s degree of Science in Clinical Investigation at Vanderbilt University. In 2022, he established the Head and Neck Surgical Oncology Research Fellowship where he holds the title of director. Within the fellowship, Dr. Topf leads research fellows in investigating the use of 3D scanning of head and neck surgical pathology specimens, among other things.
