Melanie D Hicks, MD completed her advanced training in head and neck ablative and reconstructive surgery at Vanderbilt University. She was thrilled to stay on and join the head and neck team as a faculty member. She enjoys treating patients with a variety of benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck. She has a particular interest in head and neck cancer survivorship. Her research focuses on ways to improve the quality of life for patients undergoing treatment for head and neck cancer, as well as head and neck cancer surgical outcomes.
