    Supply Chain

Latrice Buchanan is a member of the Supply Chain division.  She was nominated by two of her supervisors, Ryan Nell and Karen Morlan. The COVID Pandemic is not the only Memorable Moment that Latrice has shined! She has been in Supply Chain for several years and has been through the flood, the move to VCCOC, the Tornado, the Pandemic, the Supply Shortages, staffing shortages, etc. Through all of these events, Latrice has remained the ROCK that holds the team together, never floundering, but remaining calm and strong in the face of adversity. Her vast knowledge of products and processes made her an innate leader within the VUMC OR Supply Chain arena. Latrice’s dedication has allowed the VUMC OR teams to thrive to historical volumes.

Thank you, Latrice for being a valued member of Supply Chain and going Above & Beyond.

    Revenue Cycle

Jeanna Buttrey is a member of the Revenue Cycle division.  She was nominated by her supervisor, Scott Allen.  Jeanna recently participated in moving the mailroom from the One Hundred Oaks location to the new location in Green Hills. Jeanna was instrumental in planning, preparing, and utilizing the space. With her tenure supervising the mailroom, she could have a blank canvas to have it run the way she wanted. Since moving to Green Hills, the efficiency of the mailroom has been amazing. Jeanna sees the total patient experience and focuses her efforts to make it a positive one.  At this same time of the mailroom move, Jeanna also took on additional responsibilities as our onsite patient advocate in the One Hundred Oaks location. This position was not only one that Jeanna had to hire and fill, but she filled in herself when no one else would. Every decision she makes, she keeps her team and the patient in mind.  Jeanna is a perfect example of what credo-based behavior should look like.

Thank you, Jeanna, for being a valued member of the Revenue Cycle and going Above & Beyond.

    Supply Chain

Kelvin Devane is a member of the Supply Chain division.  He was nominated by his supervisor, Jon Dreyer.  When it comes to Kelvin, it isn't about "A" memorable moment or "THE" memorable moment, his moments are numerous and continuous. Kelvin honestly leads within the VCCOC like he is a majority stakeholder of the organization.  His focus on patient care is like none that I have ever seen. Kelvin is not only an example of Credo, he is CREDO. Kelvin is one of the most respectful gentlemen you can ever meet. He takes pride in making sure the clinicians have what they need, and he will not stop searching or calling vendors until he has exhausted every avenue possible to meet that need.   He works on the weekends to allow his team to take valuable time off with their families. He is always thinking of ways to motivate, keep the morale high, and do whatever it takes for VUMC to be successful in its mission to make healthcare personal.

Kelvin wanted to mention he is the grandson of Sara and James Devane and he is from Ivanhoe, NC.

Thank you, Kelvin, for being a valued member of Supply Chain and going Above & Beyond.
