The Vanderbilt Institute for Global Health (VIGH) aims to discover outcomes that reduce disease burden in communities throughout the world through biomedical and public health research. Research at VIGH relies on multidisciplinary approaches to identify and address challenges that impact health outcomes, including social and behavioral factors, barriers to delivery of care, and translating study results into practice. With over 135 globally engaged faculty members at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Vanderbilt University, and higher education institutions around the globe, VIGH faculty members continually investigate new ways to develop innovative programs for addressing emerging global health challenges. VIGH’s scope of work is comprehensive and encompasses both traditional and non-traditional global health domains. |
