We, at LACI (lay-see), conduct groundbreaking research to better understand and treat depression in older adults. The foundation for this work is to better understand how the brain works and how depression affects the brain. By improving how we treat depression, our goal is to improve the long-term outcomes of depression, promote memory function and brain health, and enhance the quality of life experienced by older adults.
