Magda Houlberg, M.D., Chief Clinical Director of Howard Brown Health Center in Chicago, will deliver LGBTQ Health Grand Rounds at noon on Tuesday, Jan. 23 in 202 Light Hall. Houlberg will discuss hormone therapy management for transgender patients. Lunch will be available for the first 50 people who register here.

Community Advisory Board Applications Available Through Dec. 31

Lend your voice and expertise to the Vanderbilt Program for lgbtq Health's new Community Advisory Board.
We are seeking 12-15 individuals who can serve two-year appointments and help us ensure the highest level of patient care at Vanderbilt University Medical Center by providing guidance on clinical services, community outreach, patient experience, and policy. Board members must be able to meet quarterly and represent the program at special events throughout the year. We are looking for diverse candidates who represent the entire LGBTQI community.
LGBT-Focused Employee Resource Groups

The Vanderbilt Program for lgbtq Health seeks to create two new employee resource groups for sexual and gender minority employees at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
An employee resource group (ERG) is a voluntary, employee-led group that fosters a diverse, inclusive workplace aligned with organizational mission, values, goals, business practices and objectives.
One group will focus on LGBTQI employees, while the second one will focus specifically on transgender employees.
