Aparna Srinivasan

Aparna Srinivasan is from Westmont, Illinois, and she has recently graduated from Vanderbilt University with degrees in Neuroscience and Psychology. She worked at the Music Cognition Lab from the fall of 2019 to the spring of 2023. Now, she has matriculated into medical school at Meharry Medical College, and hopes to apply to a child psychiatry residency in a few years! Outside of her education, she loves to write her own music, sing, and play the ukulele. Aparna is also an intern for the Hydrocephalus Association (HA) and writes research blogs for the HA website. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career in medicine and possibly specialize in pediatrics.
