Beat Perception as a Building Block of Social Engagement and its Disruption in Autism (Marcus Autism Center, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta)
Lense (PI) 04/01/16 - 03/31/18
This study examines the role of beat and rhythm perception in the scaffolding of visual engagement in social and non- social contexts. This project uses novel eye-tracking paradigms to measure attentional entrainment in typically developing infants/toddlers and those with autism.
