“The Science of Song” and will take place in Ingram Hall at the Blair School of Music from 2-8 pm on Monday, September 12, 2016. Here are some highlights of our event schedule, which includes world-famous neuroscientist Dr. Isabelle Peretz as our keynote speaker:
- Nashville Mayor Megan Barry will be delivering the opening remarks
- Grammy-winner Rodney Crowell will be our featured performer
- Song slayers Darden Smith, James House and Mary Gauthier will perform in-the-round
- Researchers from institutions across North America and the UK will be presenting posters
