Vanderbilt University Medical Center has a longstanding relationship with the Nashville Veteran Affairs Medical Center. The Department of Neurology has several faculty members who dedicate substantial time to caring for our nation’s veterans, educating Neurology residents and fellows, and participating in VHA-funded research. Faculty at the Nashville Veteran Affairs Medical Center offer neurology care in subspecialty clinics dedicated to Neuro-Oncology, Movement Disorders, Neuromuscular, Epilepsy, Headache, Traumatic Brain Injury, Sleep, Stroke, and Neuroimmunology. Serving the VA Medical Center in both inpatient and outpatient settings allows Neurology faculty, residents and fellows to manage patients for acute and long-term clinical care.
