Application Next Steps

After applications are reviewed, our recruiters will contact candidates. A hiring department conversation will be scheduled for qualifying candidates.

We do our best to match new hires with their first choice of department top choices. However, considerations are based on department needs and participation. You may be contacted to explore other opportunities if your initial choices are no longer available.

Candidate Eligibility

Candidates must possess an associate's degree in nursing (ASN or ADN); bachelor's degree in nursing; or higher from a state-approved program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

  • Nurse residents hired into the program without a BSN will be encouraged to attain a BSN within three years.
  • You must be licensed before your start date. Residents providing documentation of successful NCLEX results and pending application for TN RN licensure (or a state that is part of the enhanced nurse licensure compact) will be considered eligible to start.
