On October 8th, Heather Davidson, PhD, will be representing Vanderbilt at the Interprofessional Education Design Forum: Bridging Education and Practice at The American Institute of Architects Headquarters in Washington, DC.
The forum is hosted by SmithGroupJJR, an architecture, engineering and planning firm serving the higher education and healthcare markets. The Forum will focus on how the move to interprofessional education (IPE) is affecting the types of spaces required for health professions education and how the realities of healthcare practice informs IPE space for team-based learning and care.
