Objectives:
The activity is designed to help the learner
• Identify symptoms of catatonia unique to children and those with neurodiverse backgrounds
• Formulate a treatment plan for cases of pediatric catatonia in various clinical settings
• Discuss the history of adult and pediatric ECT use in catatonia and other conditions
• Discuss barriers to using ECT in pediatric patients due to stigma and state-dependent legislation
