With 70% of Trauma patients at Vanderbilt requiring some sort of Orthopaedic care, the Division of Orthopaedic Trauma in the Department of Orthopaedics plays a major role in the Center. Dr. William Obremsky leads a team of 5 faculty and2 fellows who collectively perform almost 2,000 surgeries annually. With an emphasis on research and academics in addition to their clinical interests, this team is equipped to meet the growing demand of the trauma patient population in conjunction with the other clinical components of the Center.
