Research Interest
I am interested in adverse birth outcomes and passionate about learning the epidemiological methods and statistical tools to advance the field of women’s health. My current projects include investigating personal traits and attrition in a community-based lifestyle intervention among minority women, evaluating the association of uterine fibroids with birthweight and gestational age, and determining the joint impact of maternal body mass index and race/ethnicity on marosomia. My dissertation work will leverage a large pregnancy cohort to investigate vigorous physical activity and pregnancy-related outcomes, including time to pregnancy, miscarriage, and birthweight.
