Research Interests
I am interested in reproductive epidemiology methods and the determinants of spontaneous abortion. Currently, I am working on a number of projects using data from Right From the Start, a large pregnancy cohort which enrolled women before conception or during early gestation with the aim of understanding determinants of fecundability and adverse pregnancy outcomes. Topics of my ongoing projects include the validity of maternal recall for early pregnancy medication exposures, the relationship between spontaneous abortion and morphological characteristics observed during early pregnancy ultrasound, and the timing between normal pregnancy arrest and clinical pregnancy loss.
