Paula Harlow, BS, NCTTP
Paula A. Harlow earned 2 Bachelor’s degrees in Mass Communications in 2005 and in Anthropology, Biology, and Chemistry in 2011 from State University of New York, College at Oneonta and City University of New York, Lehman College.
Prior to coming to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2015, she worked as a Research Coordinator for several research institutions including Columbia University Medical Center and University of California – Riverside, Los Angeles, and Irvine campuses. Her research experience encompasses Alzheimer’s disease, elder abuse in persons with dementia, working memory in bilingual children, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and lastly smoking cessation since joining the ViTAL team in 2019.
Mrs. Harlow completed phlebotomy training at Vanderbilt in 2015 and became nationally certified in tobacco treatment (NCTTP) by NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals in March 2021.
