The Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer's Center would like to announce our May lecturer in our VMAC Guest Lecture Series, Dr. Claudia Kawas, Al and Trish Nichols Chair in Clinical Neuroscience and Professor of Neurobiology & Behavior and Neurology, at the University of California, Irvine. Over the past 25 years, Dr. Kawas has worked on numerous longitudinal studies of aging and dementia, including the Bronx Aging Study, the Baltimore Longitudinal Study of Aging (NIA), and most recently, The 90+ Study, a population based sample of more than 1,400 people aged 90 years and older.
Dr. Kawas' presentation will take place on Tuesday, May 24th in Light Hall 214 (at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center) from 8:15-9:15am.
