Yukti Vyas, PhD

Clinical Scientist, Training Programs Manager

Dr. Yukti Vyas is a Clinical Scientist and Training Programs Manager at the Vanderbilt Memory and Alzheimer's Center. Dr. Vyas completed her PhD in biomedical science at the University of Auckland in New Zealand, and postdoctoral fellowship at the Neurocentre Magendie, INSERM in France. She has a strong background in preclinical research specializing in investigating therapeutic strategies for neurological disorders. In addition, Dr. Vyas has extensive experience in mentoring and supervising research trainees and has taught several international advanced neuroscience courses. 

In her role, Dr. Vyas manages Dr. Angela Jefferson's training program. She works closely with trainees to provide mentorship and support for their research activities, facilitates intra- and inter-team collaborations, and reviews all trainee work products. 

In her free time, Dr. Vyas enjoys spending time exploring new landscapes and traveling.
