Overview
The Application Platform Services team administers the OpenShift Container Management Platform to host containerized applications. The system is architected to run containerized workloads in multiple clusters across multiple data centers. The services provided include the following:
- Provision a workspace and templated pipeline for building and deploying an application
- Provide and patch base images for application
- Deploy applications
- Manage resources like disk, CPU, and memory
- Assist with monitoring and other operational support activities
How Can I Get It?
To leverage OpenShift for a new containerized application, submit Pegasus request OpenShift New Application. Depending upon the situation, approval from the VUMC governance process may be required. To learn more about OpenShift platform, contact vumc.it.aps@vumc.org.
