Adobe Creative Suite 6 Activation

Adobe has introduced new installation requirements for Creative Suite 6 (CS6). 1.Customers must log in with an Adobe ID and activate their software within seven days of first launching CS6. Otherwise, the software will stop working. 2.If you do not have an Adobe ID, you can create one at https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/membership/index.cfm. 3.If you do not have access to the Internet, click I do not have access to the Internet during the installation process. The offline computer will create a machine specific Request Code. You must use the Request Code within 72 hours from an Internet-enabled device to activate your offline computer. 4.You can move a CS6 product from one machine to another by selecting Deactivate from the Help menu on the old machine, and then activating the software on the new computer. You must be online to deactivate using this method. If you are not online, you can contact Adobe Customer Support at http://helpx.adobe.com/contact/ to deactivate. 5.Since Vanderbilt participates in the Adobe CLP Volume Licensing Program, IT administrators may use Adobe Application Manager, Enterprise Edition (AAMEE) 3.0 to create and deploy CS6. AAMEE can be used to do a one-time organizational Adobe ID sign-in and activation so that end users will not be required to log in and activate. Adobe recommends using AAMEE for offline systems and systems behind secure firewalls. Each desktop support group may wish to create an Adobe ID for the support team to use. This practice will help guard against staff turnover and will help with license management.
